Dates are naturally sweet & when soaked, they impart their deliciousness into the water making the sweetened water a great alternative to adding processed sugar into your food.
- 3-6 dates
- 1 C fresh water
Soak dates overnight.
For a subtle hint of sweetness soak less dates in the water you intend to use in your recipe & for sweeter water simply soak more dates.
Use it in: almond milk, smoothies, iced tea, oatmeal- the options are endless :)
